We recently exhibited at JFEX WINTER 2025, held at Makuhari Messe.
JFEX is an international trade show specializing in the food and beverage industry, and over the three-day period, it welcomed 10,339 visitors from Japan and abroad, with 315 exhibitors participating, creating an active environment for exchange throughout the event.
Overall Impressions of the Exhibition
The exhibition featured a wide range of exhibitors, including processed foods, beverages, ingredients, and related services.
In addition to visitors from within Japan, there was a strong presence of international attendees, reinforcing the role of JFEX as a venue not only for the domestic market, but also for information gathering related to exports and inbound demand.
Overall, many visitors attended with clear objectives, and the exhibition maintained a calm, business-oriented atmosphere where practical discussions were taking place across the venue.
Observations on Muslim-Friendly and Halal Topics
Throughout the exhibition, we were reminded that Muslim-friendly and halal-related topics are no longer limited to niche or specialized areas. Instead, they are increasingly being considered as one important perspective when discussing overseas expansion and inbound tourism.
Rather than being treated as standalone initiatives, halal considerations appeared to be positioned as part of broader business planning, including ingredient management, information disclosure, and overall product design.
Our Appreciation to Visitors at Our Booth
During the exhibition, we were pleased to welcome many visitors to our booth.
We sincerely thank everyone who took the time to stop by and speak with us.
Although the time for each conversation was limited, the opportunity to engage directly allowed us to encounter a wide range of perspectives and opinions. Discussions around Muslim-friendly and halal considerations, in particular, highlighted the diversity of interest and awareness surrounding these topics and provided valuable insights for our future initiatives.
Conclusion
Our participation in JFEX WINTER 2025 provided a valuable opportunity to assess the current state of the food and beverage industry, while also reaffirming that Muslim-friendly and halal perspectives remain important themes that require continued and thoughtful engagement.
We will carry forward the insights and dialogues gained at this exhibition and continue to approach issues related to Muslim dining with care and sincerity, working steadily to expand安心 and choice in this field.
